Nieuwe speler/coach voor HBS 1
Toen ons het nieuws bereikte dat Nic Adendorff niet terug zou keren voor seizoen 2024, werd het internationale netwerk van HBS ingeschakeld om een goede vervanger te vinden. Wij kwamen op het spoor van Lehan Botha, een hele goede allrounder uit de omgeving van Kaapstad. Intussen hebben wij een overeenkomst bereikt en meldt Lehan zich in april onder voorbehoud dat de IND een vergunning verleent hiervoor.

My name is Lehan Botha and I am from Cape Town, South Africa. I am a passionate cricketer with interests in all sports as well as finance. My role on the cricket field is a batting all-rounder. Cricket has been in my life for as long as I can remember and I enjoy the competitive aspect along with the social side of the game. I am looking forward to meeting everyone at the club and hopefully can make an impact during my stay there.
Just for some background, I am a top order batting all rounder. These are just the end figures from last season.
Batting:Over the last season at Maties Cricket club, I ended with an average 57 with a strike rate of 102, scoring 342 runs in 9 innings.
Bowling: I ended the season with 17 wickets with a strike rate of 18.9 in 12 games.
I have also been selected to represent the South African University team in March this year.
